Organize projects with Collections
Group projects into a personal, nested structure that is easy to browse.
Create and fill Collections
Collections organize your project dashboard without changing a project's access, owner, or collaborators.
How to do it
- On the Projects page, select the plus button beside Collections to create a top-level Collection.
- Use a Collection's more menu to create a subcollection, rename it, move it under another Collection, or delete it.
- Drag a project name onto a Collection to add it, or choose Manage collections… in the project's own menu.
- To add several at once, tick the projects and choose Add to collection in the bar that appears.
- Remove a project from a Collection when it no longer belongs there; the project itself is untouched.
- While a Collection is open, tick projects and choose Remove from followed by the Collection's name to take them out of it.
Rearrange Collections
The Collection tree can be reshaped at any time without touching the projects in it.
How to do it
- Drag a Collection above or below another to reorder it, or onto one to nest it inside.
- In a subcollection's more menu, choose Move to and then Collections root to make it a top-level Collection again.
- Select the arrow beside a Collection to collapse or expand its subcollections.
How Collections behave
A Collection is a label on your dashboard, not a folder that owns the project.
How to do it
- A project can belong to several Collections at once, so adding it to a new one leaves its existing Collections in place.
- Deleting a Collection — with its subcollections — never deletes the projects inside it.
- Stars, archiving and Collections are all personal views; combine them with search to find work quickly.
